Family Dental Associates in Baltimore, smiles are a family value - your
smiles, and theirs too. Dr. Larry Sarubin founded the practice in 1958 and
his brother Dr. Murray joined him in 1971. Today their sons Todd and
Danny, run the practice alongside Dr. Murray. Their warmth and caring,
touches the lives of all their patients.
They are doing more to educate patients about the healthy lifestyle
choices that can improve their health.

Dr. Murray Sarubin graduated from the University of
Maryland's College of Dentistry in 1966. After receiving his degree, Dr.
Murray Sarubin served two years in the U.S. Navy Dental Corp. in San Diego,
California. Dr. Murray then returned to Baltimore and his roots. In 1971 he
and Dr. Larry Sarubin opened a new office in Westview Mall.
Endurance athletics have been Dr. Murray's passion for many years and he has
competed in many marathons and triathlons, winning his share of age-group
medals along the way.
Dr. Murray has a daughter, Amy Olson, and a son, Dr. Danny Sarubin. He also
has three grandchildren; Jack and Lily Olson and Austin Sarubin. Dr. Murray,
his wife, Susan, and their Rhodesian Ridgebacks all reside in the Mt.
Washington section of Baltimore.

Dr. Todd Sarubin graduated from the University of
Maryland's College of Dentistry in 1985. After receiving his degree, Dr.
Todd did a general practice residency at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore. He
joined the practice in 1986 and continues to be on staff at Sinai and
Kernan's Hospitals. These affiliations allow Dr. Todd to treat many of his
general dentistry patients in the hospital under anesthesia.
Dr. Todd is the Regional Institute for Children and Adolescence's Dental
Director and treats many patients from the Baltimore Association for
Retarded Citizens (BARC). Dr. Todd also sees patients for the Donated Dental
Services of Maryland.
Dr. Todd is happily married to Juliane, certified Massage Therapist and
Fitness Trainer. They have four children between them. Two daughters Kori and
Mikayla, and two sons, Koby and Dylan. They all keep Dr. Todd and Juliane
very busy with coaching sports, doing homework, playing around, and changing
diapers. In his spare time, Dr. Todd enjoys computers, working around the
house, sports, and playing guitar. |

Dr. Danny Sarubin graduated from the University of
Maryland's College of Dentistry in 1994. After receiving his degree, Dr.
Danny completed a residency in hospital dentistry at the University of
Mississippi Medical Center and VA Hospital in Jackson, MS. Following his
residencies, he accepted a fellowship position in the department of medicine
at UMMC.
He has co-authored several articles which have been published in peer-review
journals. Dr. Danny joined Sarubin Family Dental Associates in 1996. He
maintains staff privileges at several area hospitals and particularly
enjoys cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Danny and his wife, Karen, live with their son Austin, in Ruxton,
Maryland.

Dr. Alexander obtained a B.S. Degree in Biology for
the University of South Carolina and continued her education in dentistry at
the University of Maryland School of Dental Surgery where she received her D.D.S. degree. Prior to and during her dental studies, Dr. Alexander
received funding and support from the National Institute of Dental Research
for her involvement in periodontal research which began her long-term
dedication in the dental/periodontal research.
After obtaining her D.D.S. degree, Dr. Alexander spent one year at the
Veteran's Administration Hospital in Perry Point, Maryland, in a general
practice residency focusing her training in the area of anxiety patient
management. She then attended Harvard University and earned her clinical
specialty in periodontics and a doctorate in medical science. Her doctoral
research was in molecular biology and bone physiology in the area of
periodontal research.
Dr. Alexander received extensive training in implantology, plastic
periodontal surgery and bone regenerative procedure while studying at
Harvard Dental and Medical School. All aspects of Dr. Alexander's training
are incorporated in her periodontal practice assuring patients of a thorough
and comprehensive periodontal treatment/therapy. |

Kevin Anthony Asher is from St. Andrew, Jamaica. He
attended Howard University in Washington, D.C. on a soccer scholarship. He
obtained his dental degree from the University of Maryland in 1992, and
received his training in Oral and Maxillofacial at Howard University
Hospital from 1992 to 1996. In 1997 Dr. Asher completed his graduate studies
in physiology where his research focused on pain control. Dr. Asher
incorporates several aspects of his pain control background into his
clinical practice. As a student, Dr. Asher was honored as a National Dean's
List Student, Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities, and winner of
the 1992 Quintessence Research Award for Outstanding Research Achievement.

Dr. Michael Pantos earned a B.S. Degree in
Microbiology from Rutgers University in 1986, where he graduated with High
Honors. Dr. Pantos then pursued his dental training at Fairleigh S.
Dickinson, Jr., College of Dental Medicine, where he earned his D.M.D.
Degree in 1990. Among his many accomplishments, he earned the Dean's Award
for Highest Academic Average of his graduating class, becoming the class
valedictorian. After earning his D.M.D. Degree, Dr. Pantos continued on with
his Postdoctorate training at The State University of New York at Buffalo,
where he earned his Certificate of Proficiency in Orthodontics in 1992. Dr.
Pantos is a member of numerous professional organizations: American Association of Orthodontists, Middle Atlantic Society of
Orthodontists, Maryland State Society of Orthodontists, American Dental
Association, Maryland State Dental Association, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon - a
nationally recognized dental honors fraternity.
Dr. Pantos has been in private practice in Maryland since 1992. He joined
Sarubin Family Dental Associates in 1993; and works closely with Drs.
Murray, Todd and Danny to provide the best orthodontic treatment possible
for all of his patients.

Voted by his peers as "The Best of Baltimore," Dr.
Schwartz has been with the Sarubin Family Dental Associates for more than
ten years. Michael K. Schwartz received his dental degree at Northwestern
University in Chicago, Illinois were he was ranked 1st out of 103 in the
class of 1981.
Dr. Schwartz received his training in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery at the John
Hopkins Hospital and has received numerous awards and accreditation in this
area.
Michael Schwartz and his wife, Elisa, reside in Owings Mills with their two
sons, Ryan and Evan.
